"Regular service was good and exceptional from breakfast attendee. They do a little "managed free" tour to Murano which is collaborated to certain company that does no tour for island at all. Just a visit to that company and selling, and nothing more than that, no history explanation or even touring the island. They should explain or print out detail explanation for tourist as it is first time visit there."

"The night we arrived there was a power outage for 2 hours and 25 minutes, the staff informed it was not only at the hotel, but also at couple of buildings in the area. The electricity was reestablished but by midnight there was another outage. The next day there was not hot water in the entire hotel, me and my family had to take a freezing cold shower that night. The problem was reported by 8:00 pm. The hotel staff said the maintenance guy might not arrive until the next morning. It took about...

"They first put us in a tiny room that seemed like it was randomly added under the staircase. It was super loud, and they told us there were no other rooms available, but then we went back and complained and were given a proper room, and said that was the only one available. However, even that room - wasn't very clean, and there were lots of spiders and mosquitoes. Some were dead and stuck on the walls and in the shower that weren't cleaned up, and the others were flying around. Everything...

"Staff was extremely helpful in navigating the city and making arrangements for reservations and transportation. The hotel location is perfect for seeing all the major sites while still giving you a more quiet evening by hotel if needed. The upstairs bar was a nice spot to relax at the end of a busy day - just wish it stayed open later (closed at 9:30) and drink prices were a very pricey."

"Room was very clean, but as it’s an old building, they had some ants. There’s a fridge, though, so you can store any food there. Beautiful room in a quiet and less busy part of town. A/C worked great (visited in June 2026). Staff at Ca D’Oro were helpful and even came over to help with wifi when it stopped working. There’s a beautiful restaurant nearby called Piera Alta. Would highly recommend."
