Ac was cold, mattress comfy, hot water in shower good. Road was spacious. Staff was nice. Very dated with broken or missing items. Furniture in disrepair. Bathroom cleanliness questionable. Location was good and we were tired so we stayed. I think it needs a big facelift and refresh for us to book again.

The pool/water Park which was what brought us to the place has been down for quite some time but no mention of that in Expedia or on their website that I could find. The bathroom was disgusting. There was water damage from the ceiling. There was evidence of what looked like blood on the wall that had been smeared. It just was a disgusting place. Will never stay there again. Would suggest possibly sleeping in your car. You won't get anything if you do.

The water park, gym and arcade were closed. This was not noted on the website. The hallways are old and dingy. The room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows should be king size on a king size bed. We did not try the breakfast offered.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. We arrived after a 7-hour drive with a baby and a child and left within 20 minutes because the condition of the hotel and room was unacceptable. The room had no working lights, water-stained ceilings, missing ceiling tiles, a damaged door, blood-stained carpet, and a large uncovered hole in the heater vent. We also encountered people smoking marijuana right outside the entrance. To make matters worse, the water park was only open on weekends, which was not made clear when we booked. We did not feel comfortable or safe staying there, especially with young children, so we immediately checked out and found accommodations elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to other families.

The only thing that I like about this property is that it was close to the shopping centre. There’s so many things that was wrong with this hotel to put it in a nutshell the hotel is old and outdated I don’t know if they are fixing it up but the two that I experienced was not that great. The elevator stopped on every floor before it reached our floor on the fourth floor in my first room when I was ready to take a shower the faucet was broken that’s why I had to go to another room and when I got to the other room it was just as bad. I didn’t want to go to sleep in the bed because it looked like the sheets on the bed wasn’t change. The side door is always open anyone can walk in or out by that door. Don’t get me wrong it’s a big hotel and need a lot of works as i said I don’t know if they are working on it but my experience was horrible my worst hotel so far since I have been travelling and I travel a lot. I went down for breakfast this morning and was happy I didn’t miss my sleep yesterday going for breakfast. don’t get me wrong. because this hotel has a lot of potential, but I think they should fix it up before they start renting those rooms. are just don’t rent those room that they haven’t fixed yet. well, I won’t be going back to that hotel unless they fix it out very nicely. If I could ask for a refund, I would.. thank you.

The guest room was worn and tattered, cushions were stained and nasty. Peeling paint, hole in the wall water/mold stains. Beds were lumpy. There is no security, no card needed to enter thru unlocked back door. People hanging out and smoking weed. HVAC was loud. TV remote did not work. Room was clean. Carpet is new. I saw no evidence of bug infestation

Don't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in the summer, so we didn't get to do it.

The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel building itself needs some repairs. In our room alone, the phone had been removed from the wall and no replacement phone in the room, the molding around the bathroom mirror was falling off, and when you sat on the pull out couch you sank all the way down into the mattress springs. There was no other chair to sit in. There was no coffee maker although the sugar/creamer packets, cups and coffee packets for use in the machine were neatly placed on the counter. But our biggest disappointment was that the waterpark and pool were closed on the days we stayed. It was why we chose that hotel. So we went home with some very disappointed children.

This property was quite possibly the dirtiest, least well maintained hotel I have stayed at in my life. There were several rooms in the hall that were missing door handles, the hotel smell was almost unbearable, and the waterpark is closed and the elevators were not working. Would not recommend!
