"My room wasn’t ready when I arrived and had to wait until 4:15pm for my room with a child and health issues after lengthy traveling. Not enough trowels in the room. Air conditioner in the room broken. Reception Toilets messy with no toilet paper in them. Breakfast a massive disappointment. They are basically trying to save money on everything and it make it unpleasant for the paying customer."

"We have just had two glorious nights with the fantastic bird . From the minute we got there the staff were attentive and friendly , must give a mention to a few .. Tony , Laura , Tom , Nic , Adrian and valentina . The breakfasts are second to non, we ate on the Saturday night out on the beautiful garden terrace , burgers were great and the two desserts lemon and honeycombs Sunday and the dark chocolate macaroon was exceptional. Everywhere was clean and welcoming with the most amazing decor ....

"The location was perfect! Very quiet and close enough to walk into the center of town. Close to Sydney gardens and the Art museum which we loved.
The kitchen had everything that you could need and the outdoor space was so nice to have since we were there for some very warm weather!
We would definitely stay here again."

"Loved the character and position only a very short walk into Bath. Unfortunately during our stay was a heatwave so the four flight's of stairs were sometimes a bit much. Saw lots of places in Bath and on our last day, out of our window, hot air balloons went past to.us. Magical"

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay.
The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is situated in a great location. The centre of the city is just around the corner and there is a very beautiful park just up the street.
There is a heat wave in Bath and a lot of properties cannot have air conditioning. So, I booked this hotel because the listing on Expedia said it was air conditioned.
When I arrived they showed me to a room that was not airconditioned. It was stiffling. I went back to reception and was told that I was in traditional wing of the hotel and those rooms...

"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."

"We had twin beds & I had a double quilt cover on mine it had such a big hangover I kept getting my foot stuck in it. They didn’t clean our room on the Sunday for some reason? We managed using our towels twice & making our beds.
We had to keep calling down for more coffee & sugar, coffee machine didn’t work one day seemed it was full of expired coffee caps, wile doing it he spilt some coffee over the bin onto the floor & just left it !! On the first day we needed help with air conditioning....
