"I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown and had a disappointing experience. Check in was at 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:10, one of our two rooms was still not ready. No one informed us when it became available, we had to follow up ourselves. The staff overall were rude and unhelpful. One room faced the highway, making it very noisy at night, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. The next day, we were told room service required 24...

"This property is perfectly located near absolutely everything you want to see and do! There are so many restaurants and cafes nearby and everything is within walking distance. The museums are wonderful! The shops have everything you need. The pier with its beach and restaurants along with so many activities is a great place to wander for the day."

"The property is falsely advertised as a bed and breakfast. It even says “bed and breakfast” on the entrance, and the rate is higher than other properties in the neighborhood. But it’s a sham, there is no breakfast, there is no staff on site to clean your room or change the towels, and the owner is full of crap when you complain. Do yourself a favor and look for another place to stay. Don’t take my word for it- look at reviews going back to 2024 calling them out on this. "

"Including this stay my last 3 stay were with Fairfield inn by Marriott in various parts of the country. I keep booking with Marriott because my last 2 stays were excellent. This location not as highly rated by wife and myself. Staff was not as friendly and interior showed much more wear. Could be based on years in business and popularity of area.
