"Stayed at a handful of hostels and this one's in a class of its own. Bunk beds are comfortable and private, with plenty of lockable storage underneath. The space is clean, warm, and genuinely well put together. Staff are friendly and they set the tone for the place. Taco Tuesday is not to be missed. Easy in and out, free parking just a block away. And the location speaks for itself."

"The only good thing about this place was the location. Everything else was pretty bad. We had one of the private rooms. I don’t think anything was cleaned. The shower curtain liner was pink with mold. The shower drain did not drain. There was hair stuck on the shower wall. Mold on the shower wall. I used the hand towel in the bathroom and behind it, stuck to the wall, was a hygienic liner from a women’s swimsuit bottom.. if they had changed the towels they would’ve seen that.. This place grossed...

"Me gustaron mucho las áreas comúnes, que haya café, agua y que se pueda estar en áreas comúnes antes del check in, y después del check out. Lo unico negativo es que la entrada a la habitación es hasta las 4pm, no se puede antes. Muy limpias las áreas, lo unico que sugiero mejorar es la limpieza hel baño de hombres, y el unico mijitorio del primer piso estaba fuera de servicio."

"For a hostel, it was definitely one of the better ones...we had a private room and it was clean and comfortable. A big plus is that they have a good amount of restrooms/showers on each floor/hall, so you never had to wait long. Great dining area. Convenient to everything downtown. So it was actually very good for a hostel, I don't have any criticism of the hostel itself, I just didn't like being in downtown san diego....parking is an issue if you have a car, expect to pay $20 for overnight...
