"The food never disappoints at Dreams. This is our 6th Dreams we’ve been to and they have really shifted to cater to families with small children. I wouldn’t select this resort if you aren’t traveling with children, as there are no areas that are adults only. We had the preferred club and stayed in a king room with a plunge pool. The preferred benefits here only get you access to the preferred club and a small section of beach chairs. You do need to get up early to reserve chairs, as they get completely taken up by 9am across the whole resort. The service was wonderful and the rooms were very clean every day with fully stocked mini fridge. We did come to golf, which appeared to have included greens fees online, but that was not the case. We enjoyed our stay, but next time we’ll be booking at their adults only brand, Secrets. "

The energy is vibrant, the design is chic, and everything feels intentionally elevated without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place where relaxation and fun coexist beautifully ~ loungy mornings, glamorous pool afternoons, and nights that hum with just the right amount of excitement. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the service. Edwin at the bar is pure gold. His drinks were flawless every time, but even more than that, his warmth and charisma made each stop feel special. The kind of bartender who remembers you, anticipates what you want, and makes the experience feel effortlessly luxe. Poolside, Vincent and Viktor were exceptional. Attentive, polished, and perfectly tuned into guest comfort, they made the day feel seamless ~ towels, drinks, check-ins, all handled with ease and genuine kindness. They struck that rare balance of being present without ever hovering, which is the hallmark of true luxury service. Breathless Riviera Cancun nails the vibe: stylish, social, indulgent, and incredibly well run. It’s a place where you feel taken care of without being managed ~ and that’s a hard thing to get right. We left already planning our return."

"Overall, I would rate my stay an 8 out of 10! The staff were super friendly and helpful and always made sure that whatever I needed I got. My only issue with this resort is that, no one could explain to us how the “resort credit” work. We had a $500 resort credit and we were told by the front desk staff to reach out to the spa (where the credit could be spent) cool took the paper to the spa and the Rep (super nice) explained it. So depending on the service (I got and mani & Pedi and my partner for a facial) how it was explained that amount for those services were listed $30 for the mani and $30 for the pedi, $80 or $90 was for the facial. Got the services and we went to enjoy the rest of the day. On the day of check out, the front desk agent was like we have a $197.00 credit for the spa services and we were puzzled cause the “resort credit” was suppose to cover the services. Apparently it doesn’t, contacted the spa only for them to now inform us that the “$500 resort credit” is a discount. To date I am still confused how is that possible and how is $500 credit a discount? We’ve asked numerous of works to explain that to us, but no at the hotel could explain it. I would say to whomever is going here to ignore the resort credit cause it was a total scam. That dampened my interest in ever going back and staying to this place cause I felt I was robbed. Ended up paying almost $300 CAD to cover that charge! Big scam!!"

"The property is well run and well taken care of. Quality of food and drink was exceptional. It is a smaller hotel with a boutique feel, beautiful rooftop patio and beach club area. Staff are friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and clean."
