They out of everything when you need them in anywhere. Towel finished, chairs full, buffet, steak finished, straw finished, omelet finished, taco finished, pizza never seen it in 6 days. Ohh you eat everyday same thing. But desert chef’s perfect. Al employee hospital even they don’t speak English they are trying to help all the time. Don’t even think about to swim at beach. Beach is finished I mean closed :?

I’m one of those people that don't normally write reviews but this place needed some feedback. Overall, great looking resort but a lot smaller than most of the typical larger resorts like a Barcelo for example. Food was constantly out, basic kids options like ketchup, nuggets, fries, ice cream was non existent without having to track some down. Kids options on the buffet were extremely limited. The buffet for snacks were always low and needed to remind staff to refill. The pool chairs were always taken by 8am and if you aren’t an early riser, there was 0 hope that you and your family were getting a chair. There wasn’t a huge focus on kids activities during the day (there is an awesome little trampoline park) but our kids had a ton of fun and that was the most important thing. The shows at night were great and kids enjoyed them. Biggest fail - food choice for kids and food availability at all buffets, pool chairs, towels (always had to wait 20+ minutes for them) and lines for everything. For the kind of money we spent, would go to a larger resort with more options.

Didn’t partake in the business facilities. Rooms were clean for sure. There were paint chips and paint drippings constantly on the deck. Staff overall weren’t very friendly or accommodating. Didn’t park although there did seem to be lots of cars on the up and down ramp the whole time we were there. The road in and out was in terrible condition. There was not enough staff and lineups absolutely everywhere we went. Which is why I think the staff weren’t overly friendly. They were overworked and under-appreciated.

Ocean was visible from my room. People are very friendly. Alicia from "Trampoline exercise " was so friendly. Great coach. We had so much fun jumping on the trampoline every morning. Isabelle - the life guard girl as well. Very friendly and nice. Fun in the pool aerobic also. The only thing we where missing is walking roads, except the beach. You can walk only around the pool and lobby

My family and I spent spring break at Sensira the last week of March. It was our first time to Cancun and our first time staying at an all inclusive resort. The facilities were very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping came several days over the 7 days we were there. The pools (3) were nice. They allowed pool floats. The beach was inundated with seaweed (sargassum). It smelled pretty bad and irritated my allergies (which I have never experienced with seaweed). The seaweed was so thick that it rendered the beach unusable. There were people trying to clear the seaweed from the beach, but it was an unachievable task. There were a lot of activities for kids: swimming, movies, trampolines, a video game area, nightly shows. We also had plenty of access to drinks all day, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The food was good, with some days better than others. We ate all but one meal in the Pergola (buffet) because we were never able to get a reservation in the one restaurant everyone suggested. Lunch was insane! The outdoor restaurant had no organization to it. Food took more than an hour and sometimes people would walk off with your order. All of the waitstaff and service staff in the resort were very nice and very helpful. Bring pesos to tip. The front desk staff and concierge staff were not very nice. They were not rude, but not very hospitable either. The resort is isolated. There is no where to go off the property.

Beautiful resort with friendly staff and lots to do. However, the restaurants are all disorganized: long waits and constantly out of staple like cups, spoons, milk, despite being at 30-40% of capacity. Also, they are unfortunately affected by the sargassum algae blooms, and the gulf water was inaccessible through 20-30 feet of thick rotting smelly seaweed. The drinks were good and the activities staff is especially energetic and fun for the whole family! Gracias a Jerry y Sammy!

I went to sensira previously and it was amazing, came back again for a quick week in 2026, the place is still clean and the staff amazing. But food which was one of the highlights the first time i came was now neutral at best. It feels like there was budget cut on food, no guacamole for tacos, one type of tacos if any. Back when i went the first time the tacos station during diner had 3 types of meats, 6 different sauces etc.. even at the mexican specialty restaurant 3 tiny tacos at entrée. I talk about tacos specifically but i felt it was the same for every other type of food. So the hotel is nice, the place is amazing for family but the food is now just ok. Its not disgusting but it wont be a highlights. Even the rodeo meat was okay and we tried it all.

Excellent stay. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was due to seaweed which is not entirely a resort issue, although they could have done more to clean it up the beach was not swimable. Everything else was perfect for our trip!

We overall had a great stay at Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya and would especially recommend it for families with kids. The resort is on the smaller side, but it’s very well designed and has everything you need. It never felt boring — there are plenty of activities, and the kids facilities are truly excellent. This is one of the most kid-friendly resorts we’ve experienced. The staff was also a highlight. Everyone, from the front desk to the servers, was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We always felt taken care of, and the resort overall is very well run. That said, there are a few areas that need improvement: Food & drinks: While food was generally fresh, the buffet lacked variety and became repetitive. Fruit selection was limited, and some items (like avocados) were only available at certain times. The juices were particularly disappointing — they tasted artificial with a strong aftertaste and were not enjoyable. Alcohol: Drinks were very diluted, even when ordering top-shelf, which was frustrating. Housekeeping: This needs attention. We noticed practices that did not feel sanitary (e.g., same towel used in multiple areas, pillows placed on the floor without changing pillowcases). Beach: There was a significant amount of seaweed during our stay, and cleanup efforts were minimal compared to neighboring resorts, so we weren’t able to enjoy the ocean. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, and for the price, the resort offers good value — especially for families.

Sensira Our stay at Sensira Resort was terrible. First off let me say I have never had to write a bad review till now and I have stayed at multiple resorts at different locations in Mexico including Tulum, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun multiple times, Cabo and Puerto Peñasco multiple times. I’m going to simplify this as short as possible and if anyone wants to follow up with me feel free to shoot me a follow up message and we can go through specific details. 1. We arrived early could not check in till exactly 3; we even tried to check in at 2:55 just to be told it wasn’t 3 yet and could not be checked in 2. Bags were left unattended. Anyone could have accessed them and we ultimately took them up to our own room because we couldn’t find bellman 3. There was no staff at the amenities play area to assist us with equipment; multiple times we had to look around the front of the resort to flag staff down to sign in and use amenities 4. The first day we arrived while waiting to be checked in they did allow us access to the pool but our towels were taken away even though they were clearly not used and next to our stroller, pool was freezing 5. When we were finally able to check in, the room we were assigned was occupied! I walked in on a family and my kids were the first ones in the room, major safety issue!!!!! 6. Went straight to front desk and didn’t even receive an apology; they just took our luggage and showed us to the correct room. 7. The room we got checked into, the tv and p

We were really looking forward to another stay at Sensira, after a great time last year. The resort is clean and the staff is great, and the amenities remained pretty much the same. While Sensira advertises itself as a family resort, instead this year they hosted 2 separate Texas private school graduation trips during our 7 night stay - there were hundreds of entitled kids treating it as their private resort, crowding the facilities and having late night parties (including resort hosted white parties that went until 11pm with loud music and screaming) and loud music from balconies. My suggesting to resort management is to host these sorts of parties on off-peak weeks (i.e., not during spring break) or require them to rent out the entire resort. We and the few other families with young kids did not enjoy those days.

The hotel is small but looks cozy; perfect for a family with kids as it’s a lot of entertainments and fun stuff to do. For adults only it’s a little boring as no night club or disco and show program ends at 9pm. Overall, clean, food is tasty but not a huge choice in the buffet. All restaurants cook delicious food.

Stunning views and great for kids, though food variety could improve We recently stayed at this resort with our 4-year-old, and she had the absolute best time. The property is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are amazing. A huge plus is that all rooms are sea-facing, so you can’t go wrong with the view! There is plenty to do for kids, which kept her busy and happy throughout the trip. A few things to note: as vegetarians, we found the food options a bit limited. While the quality was good, the variety/spread wasn't very large. Also, a small tip for the resort: more popcorn for the kids' movie nights would be great! Tips for future travelers: Dining: Book your steakhouse reservations early; it’s not a walk-in spot. Spa: The spa isn't inclusive, so make sure to schedule your own appointments. Packing: The Sensira shop is quite expensive. I’d recommend bringing your own beach toys and essentials from home.
