"A lovely hotel, slap bang in the middle of town, close to all pubs and restaurants and the Centenary theatre (20 minute walk) could do with a little touch up and repairs here and there. But excellent value for where it’s positioned and the staff are exceedingly welcoming and friendly. Lovely stay would book again definitely! "

"Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling. Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin. For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side"

"Good location, convenient shuttle bus service (costs around £7 a person) and the staff were very helpful and attentive. It was the start of our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a junior suite which was a fantastic start to our trip. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Restaurant was good quality at breakfast. Great all round "

"Reliable hotel that we've used several times. Basic but well kept. Brilliant Pod system to terminal 5 means we return even when rooms are not very well equipped (no plug sockets near bed, small bathrooms). Always good value in terms of cost. Helpful friendly staff. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the crazy bear. Staff were wonderful. Hotel was fabulous and we went to the Thai restaurant and the food was great. The whole stay was fabulous. Planning our next visit soon. Thank you for a great weekend ☺️"

"I was nervous about this property having booked in a rush and not having read reviews. However upon arrival I found it easy to park and a lovely entrance with beautiful character features. The ladies in reception were friendly and welcoming and they upgraded me to a superior room which I was very pleased with. The room was fantastic with lovely comfortable bed, large tv and walk in rainfall shower. It was overall very clean but some dust around bedframe. The only thing I’d have changed was the...

"The spa area was more like a public swimming pool. Cramped, noise and dirty. Not a relaxing spa break hotel for sure!"
