"Good hotel"

"The room was perfectly maintained, and the area is nice and quiet. It's also very convenient because there's a mini-mall right next door with a coffee shop, pharmacy, and convenience store. Parking wasn't a concern at all either, as they have plenty of spaces available. And on top of that, the customer support team was excellent—always quick to reply and very helpful."

"Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"Onsite parking was in Expedia’s description, but only city street parking that you pay for is available. Had to street park 4 blocks away and drag suitcases all that way. Contacted them and they said it was not misleading to have description as ‘onsite parking’. Quite rude."

"The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but fine. It had the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel, had to step into the shower to open and close the door. Shower itself was great though. There was a mix up in the reservation and we ended up with two twin beds which was not ideal for the last night of the first kid-free trip me and my husband have had in 8 years! We tried to push them together but one was considerably higher and they moved too easily. But the biggest issue is location....

"The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close."

"Stay away! This has to be the worst hotel in Iceland. I stayed here a few years and remember it fondly, this week has been a joke: nothing works, the staff are oblivious, the rooms are old and the breakfast buffet is terrible. Let’s start from the top: 1) the rooms vary, you should insist on the ‘updated’ room otherwise you’re basically staying in a hostel 2) the faucet turns itself off. "Bathrooms need to be updated. Flimsy shower curtains and sinks that don’t drain well is not a good look. More is expected from a 4 star hotel"

"Great space, modern touches in a very central part of the city. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The pull out couch was as expected, so may be better with younger children, but overall, very happy with our stay."
