"The room was very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing very filling! And the parking is very easy too access but when there are a few guests staying the car park can get very tight, overall really good and best bit its only 17 mins drive too Alton towers from there "

"This hotel was brilliant! It was clean, peaceful and the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. The breakfast was appetising and fresh and tasty.
The staff were concientious, friendly and welcoming and happy to help.
All in all I can't recommend The Vicarage enough and would be more than happy to stay there again! "

"Historic hotel in great location for visiting the gardens and the opera house. Large room with good enough facilities.
Good early dinner in the bar with attentive staff. We had a late breakfast at a busy time; reasonable choice. Metal serving spoons under the hot canopy were too hot to use; coffee was weak."
