A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. "A clean, well kept hotel with wonderfully helpful staff. Lovely food, fabulous drinks. Well situated for events at the NEC and beyond if you don’t mind a taxi or train ride. Fabulous if you want a bit of luxury. Does have underground parking that is more secure than some of the other hotels in the area and around the same price."

"Enjoyed the amenities and great location 5 min walk to NEC. But had the worse couple of nights there due to noise. First night was what can only be described as a heard of elephants trying to jump into our room, very creaky floorboards and can hear everything through walls. Second night there was a party going on directly below us in the basement… complained about the noise after 10pm sounded like we were sleeping next to the DJ box , thumping music when trying to sleep as up early. "Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."

"The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. A few things lacking ... service can be slow at the bar, some friends tried to get flowers out in our room and hotel was very unhelpful. The rooms in the...
