"Had a fantastic stay at the Mode we had a Sea View room with a Balcony and the weather was perfect and we sat out watching the stars in the evening.
The room is functional with a good shower in the Bathroom and tea and coffee are provided in the room , I asked for some extra little milks and they were provided and delivered to the room by the lovely lady behind the bar/reception area.

"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"Was a little apprehensive after reafing some reviews. Arrived and was greeted by a lovely guy, very pleasant friendly and helpful. Room was clean and warm, bedding and towels were spotless. Not the Hylton but what can you expect for such a cheap stay.? Would definitely stay again."

Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition..
