"Clean and tidy; the room isn't large, but it has a bathroom where you can wash away your fatigue."

"The hotel is old and not maintained. The floors were dirty and the freezer in the frig was full of frost. The breakfast was basic. The he carpet in the halls and steps were old and worn out. People hung out in the parking area. The bed was comfortable, however. There was a shooting out front (not their fault), but couldn’t drive in to park with 15 police cars outside."

"This was a great clean, safe property, with great staff, and amenities. Very aesthetically pleasing, with a classy look and great art. The down side is the $55 a night valet parking fee which is high but worth it, if you value your automobile, and your safety. Also, the valet staff lost my leather key fob cover, which I hope will be brought up as a teaching moment in their next staff meeting. Attention to details when dealing with car keys is needed."

"Actually loved staying here, I always stay at the Marriott and the cost was like 250 more than a standard room here AND you get to contribute to local business owners that actually care about your experience. The vibe of the entire building was so cool and the layout and décor is stunning. Liquor store within walking distance for random amenities you might not find at the hotel late night and its close to everything downtown. Great experience and looking forward to staying again. We gebruikten het hotel als uitvalsbasis om San Francisco te bezoeken, overigens is Oakland zelf ook je bezoek meer dan waard. De suite beschikt over een zeer ruime slaapkamer, een goede badkamer, een keukentje, een eethoek en een zitgedeelte. Het is er trouwens muisstil. De locatie van het hotel is op zich prima. "I enjoyed the location and the hotel itself very much. My issue was VERY loud neighbors both nights I stayed, particularly the first night. The rooms are lovely but if you have loud neighbors, you will hear everything. And I mean everything. I think this could be easily addressed by letting people know expectations of quiet after 10pm and before 6am and having a way to easily address if someone is being disruptive."
