"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "

"A lovely well equipped cottage within walking distance of the town and lake although up a rat here steep hill so a bit of a climb. Very handy for walking to Brant Fell. Our only, very minor complaint was that it lacked the personal touch including a welcome pack with information about the history of the cottage and area and things to do, where to eat etc. obviously all very accessible via google but would have been nice to have felt a bit more welcomed!
