"AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL. No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain. Leaking toilet, broken toilet seat and sink plug. Heavily stained carpet. I ARRIVED but if you needed to speak to someone, you had to ring a number. "The Grand Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The room (a triple / family room) was clean and convenient. The fans in the room (in the midst of a heatwave) and the water dispenser in reception were great touches. We were initially impressed with the proactive communication prior to our visit. However, the code we were given (twice) for the NCP wouldn't work on arrival and we were told by NCP it had expired in March 2026. On raising this with Barbara at reception, we received a shrug...
