"The room was large, even with a kids bed in it. Pool was ok but changing rooms and general decor were a little bit “old school”. Free mini-bar included 1 bottle of milk and a Diet Coke; plenty of snacks but no alcoholic drinks in the mini bar."

"What an amazing find! The perfect place for us as a family to unwind after a busy day of sight seeing. The perfect base surrounded by nature and animals, all of us loved it. We will definately be staying here again and will recommend you to everyone! P.s those basket of goodies and some fridge essentials were SO appreciated after a busy day of travelling. "This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"Loved this inn? The building is over 500+ years old & therefore comes with the quirks of a very old place. That does give it character but you need to know what your are getting into. There are steep stairs & unlevel floors. All the things we love but it is not for everyone. The breakfast was great & the staff are outstanding. Location also outstanding."

"Amazing property, great access to train station, eateries, Windsor castle and everything Windsor has to offer. Rooms were a great size with good amenities. No lift but the stairs were not a problem even on the top floor."

"Nice Charming hotel, it no air con and the room was quite warm for spring May. Free parking, nice area. Bathroom shower head was high for me and not powerful. Breakfast was very nice but very small portions when we ordered the full English breakfast."

"Booked online. Information indicated rooms in the main property. When we arrived, we were actually in a hotel across the street called Windsor House operated by Christopher Wren. I addressed with desk staff and the only explanation was that it was a Christopher Wren operated property-one of several buildings in the area. No explanation as to why that was not disclosed in the advertisement or the booking. Should have been a much lesser price. Room overlooked an alley or something similar. ...

"Last minute booking the down side shared toilet in the hallway I didn't realise when booking otherwise the stay was a success. Shame about the weather being soooo hot the room did get overheated."
