"Make no mistake, the grounds are beautiful. The original mansion is also beautiful. However, it is very modern and the addition of recent structural additions to accommodate an increasing number of guests does diminish the property from the magic it claims. Imagine an old mansion property where the atmosphere ends at the door to your room because as soon as you enter the room, you’re now staring at a Hilton or Comfort Inn."

Elevator was too small, and only fit 1 person with their belongings in it at a time. Crumbs on top of the fridge. Found someone’s credit card in one of the drawers, which also indicated that they’re not cleaning the rooms properly. Indoor hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. "I am used to a higher standard hotel. This is more of a motel style. However very clean. New sheets/pillows. Nice easy breakfast options. Staff was lovely, friendly & helpful with restaurants etc. Not fancy but walking distance to Nyack restaurants."
