"Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. "

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. "The hotel was clean, check in easy, location was good (walkable). The biggest downside for the rating, air conditioning not worker for the 2 nights (room very stuffy), a small plan was provided."

"Staff friendly and helpful on Check in , the rooms and bathrooms definitely need updating which didn’t include breakfast so was quite steep for one night . No air con so it was really hot in the rooms . It was a good location , no complaints there but I think the room fee was too much considering how much they need modernising ."

"Cosy, clean and quiet. Spent a lovely night at Brooks' with a small fountain gently bubbling outside my window, in a well-kept and extremely comfortable room. The bathroom was clean and tidy too. Super-central. I didn't have breakfast but it looked great when I walked through as I left. All the pictures give a good indication of the guesthouse, and the staff were really chilled and helpful. "Clean room. Apart from the conditioner not being topped-up in the bathroom, everything was in place. Staff were polite and friendly at reception and at breakfast. The breakfast meal was well laid out. Plentiful and good variety. Location was close to station and very convenient for the city centre. I would recommend."

"I have stayed here a number of times over the years and it has always been an excellent experience. Clean friendly and good breakfast.Parking is appreciated although it can be busy I have never failed to find a spot. Nice touch is having a decent number of tea bags in the room - so many places stint on this but not here. A small point but illustrates that the hotel thinks sensibly how to look after its guests."
