"Great location, clean"

"We loved this hotel! Very classy and cute and loved the neighborhood! Rooms are awesome (king Broadway view room) and the bar is really cute and French bakery was a huge bonus! Subway is one short block away and there are lots great little restaurant's nearby. Zabars salmon cream cheese bagel is a must! Loved parperdellas Italian too. You will love staying here away from the touristy areas but only a subway ride away!"

"Great location and staff. Basic rooms are typical NYC size rooms (a little smaller) but still a nice larger shower and the beds were comfortable. I would stay again. Staff was always quick and very helpful"

"Excellent rooms, clean and well maintained. Unfortunately we were given one next to the elevator Some staff were very supportive and keen on helping out but some other left the good ones down Breakfast was average. Helpful amenities included cold purified water."

"Nice, old, historic hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. It’s in a nice area close to central park. The staff were attentive, especially the bellmen. I wasn’t impressed with the food in the hote restaurant. But the service was excellent."

"The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was an added cost, and if you park your car at the closest garage, which is about a block away, you will not have access to it for 24 hours. The location was close to a lot of the sites and our room’s view was of the Empire State Building!"

"We got a double bed room. It was spacious and we enjoyed having our bed made everyday. We could hear the street noise but that’s expected as we were near Timesquare. Lots of places to eat nearby"

"Room was clean, comfortable bed, pillows. Some of the walls in the bathroom were uneven. The door in the shower was loose and difficult to open you had to push hard. But over all very clean. In my first stay the drain in the shower was clogged. I waited till the next day texted the front desk, stated what happened and asked for a complimentary upgrade, and got a text immediately and was upgraded to a room with a terrace, too bad it was raining I was not able to enjoy it. The staff was good but...

"Fast elevators - 6 of them so there was never a long wait. Room is small yet functional. Amazingly quiet considering the location right off of the Lincoln Tunnel. Could see the buses going in and out of Port Authority. Safe area with lots to do. My only complaint would be the lack of ventilation and weak A/C. The rooms are probably overdue for a renovation."
