"Sam is a racist (employee) worst stay ever! He allegedly claims I had a party in my room for my son which I didn’t, a few kids from my room went to the pool, and he mentioned he was going to charge me $125/$150 extra because someone made a complaint about kids in the pool, splashing water and it hit the man that complained, he never asked me what happened, just went off what they guy told him at the front desk, SAM is a horrible employee, told me $150 will make everything go away, even threatened to cancel my stay over something small with some kids in a pool, I in demand said if you’re going to cancel, give me my refund, or give me a second room, of course he said no rooms were available, I also have pictures of large families in the pool as well, and you guys having a party in the lobby, did they get charged as well or only me because I’m black? This is my first stay and my last stay, I also have pictures of both large parties, I was very uncomfortable after that incident with same, I need hire up to reach out to me because all in total I paid $330 plus on one night, is very crazy too me for one room, because “I so called had a party” like I told him there was no party, there were people next door to my room, what happened to those complaints? And I have my proof of pictures to show the parties going on, but charged me as a party "

"The dirtiest hotel I have seen in my lifetime They had me singing for non smoking and they gave me a room that that smelled so bad, they don’t check the condition of the room before they give the keys to the customer, I got back to the front desk and told them about the condition of the room, they gave the keys to a new room that wasn’t cleaned, the house keeping person did not touch the room, I took pictures of that room and I got back to the front desk and showed them the pictures. They apologized to me and gave me the keys to another room, I told them to check the room before they give me the keys because I’m tired of going up and down. They went upstairs and checked and told me that they are going to give me a better room, an upgrade and they said based on their knowledge that room was fine for them. I went upstairs to check the room and I saw the room was dirty, toilet was dirty, the light switch was dirty and the sofa was dirty with black "

"Keys don’t work— gotta check with the front desk multiple times. Poor cleanliness. Alright staff. Good parking. On a winter night you have to walk outside for a while to be able to find your room after leaving the front desk."

"I had a very disappointing experience at The MC Hotel, Autograph Collection. I booked a two-night stay but was forced to leave after just one night due to the conditions of my room. I was placed on what appeared to be a fully operational amenity floor, and it was extremely loud—so much so that I was unable to sleep at all. To make matters worse, I was assigned a handicap-accessible room without prior notice, which felt like an oversight given availability should have allowed for a better fit. When I checked out early, the front desk associate assured me that I would only be charged for one night and advised me to follow up with Hotels.com. Unfortunately, that turned into a frustrating cycle of back-and-forth, with each party redirecting me to the other. Eventually, Hotels.com went above and beyond to advocate on my behalf—but the hotel ultimately denied any adjustment. What’s most disappointing is the lack of accountability and customer care. After a 7-hour airport delay, we arrived exhausted, even shared our late-night food with the concierge, and still received a subpar experience in return. Being charged nearly $600 for a stay where I couldn’t even sleep—and had to leave early—is incredibly frustrating. Between the noise, the room placement, and the poor handling of a simple billing issue, this experience fell far below expectations. I would not return, nor would I recommend this property based on how this situation was handled."
