"A warm welcome, busy nice feel to the bar / restaurant area. Room very dated in need of lick of paint. Bedding clean, bed comfortable. My room on bottom floor over looking car park so no privacy unless curtains closed. Quiet. Good location. "

"On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "

"Staff very friendly and welcoming, and the room was a good size and comfortable. They need to add some security to the corridor doors, to avoid entry by non-guests, which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. I'd gladly stay there again."

"What a lovely B&B. Atmospheric and traditionally English. Staff were fantastic, can’t do enough for you. Room was great size and really comfortable. Food was fab. No complaints and would definitely recommend."

"The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well. "

"Excellent clean and tranquil hotel surrounded by farm land. Staff were friendly and helpful would highly recommend somewhere to stay for a relaxing retreat. 5 minute drive to the centre of Stratford upon Avon and easy to get to. "

"Great hotel, they concentrate on what’s important, the room. It’s large, comfortable and clean. Only minor issue is the TV is old and has only the basic channels but hey if you are watching TV for any long period then you should probably stay at home rather than visit gorgeous Stratford."

"Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff were friendly. Be careful as rooms are outside of the hotel across the carpark with not great access. You have to walk across a muddy area to the rooms. The rooms do need updating but overall a pleasant stay."
