Hotel dekat Burton Dassett Country Park

"We booked this cottage some months ago for a trip to Silverstone. Having received no information about check in by the day before our booking, I sent a message but got no reply. Despite sending further messages via the hotels.com app, we had no idea how to get a key for the property. On arrival, there was no one there. We rang the helpline and were transferred to someone in USA who didn’t seem to understand our situation and offered a full refund. By chance, we discovered a key outside the...

"A lovely place to stay, Sian is a great host and the breakfast very nice."

"This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. For being on a busy road it was very quiet. Michelle is welcoming, but leaves you to get on with...

"A lovely place to stay to explore the Cotswolds. Very well furnished rooms and very helpful staff. Nice country pub with excellent food."

"I enjoyed my 3 night visit. I found the staff pleasant and the hotel a nice ambience. My room was a little tired but everything I needed. I will stay again. Great value for money."

"The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos."

"There is no one to check you in or ask questions to until after 5 pm or so. The front desk isn't staffed in the morning but I finally found someone cleaning a room the following morning. He told me they would not store my small but somewhat heavy bag for pick-up after 5 pm when a front desk person would be there. I said I didn't mind waiting until 5 pm to come back for the bag. He then changed their excuse for refusing to hold the bag to "we can't be responsible for it". I wasn't asking them...

"We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful. Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it...

"Low expectations will be met; front desk staff incredibly friendly and helpful, however."

"Understaffed during the day and sports bar not open on a Saturday"

"We had a great stay at Fawsley Hall - the staff were incredibly helpful and the food / breakfast was fantastic!"

"This was our second stay at the hotel. On our arrival we reported that the heating in the room wasn't working and were told that someone from mantainance would come to look at it. As nobody attended, we reported it again first in the morning only to find out that by the time we returned in the early evening, the heater still didn't work. We had to report it a third time before they made it right ."
