"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"The star rating for this hotel was 4 stars - so we expected quite a high standard. We were disappointed when we didn’t find that to be the case. We wanted a double bedded room but were given a twin bedded room. There was no wardrobe for clothes - just a rail. On the way to the room, something looking like crisps had been spilled on the carpet. It was still like that hours later. We had breakfast during our stay. We were told that breakfast started at 7am. "Spa very good, restaurant service good, staff pretty friendly. Booked 3 hotel rooms, one overlooking golf course had tremendous views, two facing a brick wall and lots of weeds pretty uninspiring. Plenty of parking and easy to find."

"Already knew and liked the Park Plaza brand. Cardiff’s Park Plaza exceeded our expectations. Staff all excellent, room comfortable. Grabbed a quick pre-theatre meal and wow - it was superb in eveyway (taste, presentation and value for money). A La Carte looked good too and we took a desert from there. Big shout out to George who led his team well - especially as a couple were on there first shifts…"
