"Very good value. Excellent parking. Staff friendly and helpful when available. Bed comfortable and clean. The fan worked well but lacked its remote control. WiFi signal in the (courtyard) room weak. A smart television with streamer access and stations beyond Freeview would have been appreciated. Had a terrific meal and wine in the restaurant followed by a pleasant walk along a quiet road into Miskin village afterwards. I would happily return."

"The star rating for this hotel was 4 stars - so we expected quite a high standard. We were disappointed when we didn’t find that to be the case. We wanted a double bedded room but were given a twin bedded room. There was no wardrobe for clothes - just a rail. On the way to the room, something looking like crisps had been spilled on the carpet. It was still like that hours later. We had breakfast during our stay. We were told that breakfast started at 7am. "Already knew and liked the Park Plaza brand. Cardiff’s Park Plaza exceeded our expectations. Staff all excellent, room comfortable. Grabbed a quick pre-theatre meal and wow - it was superb in eveyway (taste, presentation and value for money). A La Carte looked good too and we took a desert from there. Big shout out to George who led his team well - especially as a couple were on there first shifts…"

"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...
