"Hotel overall was excellent. We arrived about an hour before check in and they were able to accommodate us early. The hotel has a set of large drapes upon entrance into the lobby. It made the entrance dark and a bit awkward. Staff were fantastic. The lighting in the hotel common areas, including reception and hallways is dark. Only other negative was the large scent diffuser by the elevators. It was a bit overwhelming. We had a light meal in the bar area, food was good and again the staff were...

"Staff polite and very helpful. Room and shower room are compact - enough room to move about (I was on my own with a smaller sized bag; 2 and large suitcases would feel right ) - so there would be no swinging of cats. Sufficient for an overnight stay. Booked a windowless room as it was only for 1 night. Didn’t bother me, the curtain gave the impression of a window. Obviously no clue how bright or dry the day was (but then it is Edinburgh!). 2nd stay in 6 months (windowed room wasn’t much bigger)....

"Pool was brilliant with kids and could use sauna steam room etc , rooms spotless comfy beds and nice quiet location. Breakfast was fresh aswell in morning chef even made my sons some fresh pancakes lovely staff! Thanks "
