"So much character, a really charming hotel. Staff are so attentive and reception were so welcoming and helpful. Room is big and everything you need! Location was also perfect. Breakfast buffet was delicious, really fresh produce and variety. Cocktail were also great, just maybe a little slow. Bed was sooo comfy as well! Overall, a really really wonderful stay. "Room was dated. Curtains off hooks, dirty marks on carpet and window ledges dirty/ dusty. Most disappointing was the condition of the bed. Both my husband and I are a small build and lightweight and could feel the springs in the mattress. Also the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline if either one of us moved. "Great check in experience. Got there before 1pm and my room was ready. The staff ran through all I needed to know about the hotel and virtually took me to my room. The room was clean and comfortable, which had a small kitchenette. Nice to have a Nespresso machine, great touch. I had a great nights sleep in a lovely bed, what more could you want. "Booked the comfort triple room with private bathroom, on arrival we were shown to a twin room and a single room, without private bathroom. When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. He went away and returned stating he could not do anything as the manager wasn’t available, therefore, we had no option but to stay in rooms we had not booked. Shared kitchen was dismal, one...

"I arrived and someone was already in my room, after them being told their room wasn't ready and being put into ours. We were then told that we could go into another room and the room had not even been cleaned. The window also didn’t shut and the door handle had fallen off the window so was very cold thought the night. Will not be returning "
