All of the staff was great. They’re very adamant about maintaining your room - but after a talk with our excellent Expedia rep, Dana, we were left to relax and enjoy the pools and beautiful beach.

Just got back from Planet Hollywood Cancún and had an awesome experience overall. A huge shoutout to Dana and David at concierge—they truly made the trip extra special. They were constantly checking in, making sure I had everything I needed, and went above and beyond to help with anything that came up. If you’re considering room options, the junior swim-out is 100% worth it. Having that easy access to the pool made a big difference and added a really relaxing, upgraded feel to the stay. The food across the resort was solid, with plenty of options to keep things interesting. My favorite by far was Gusto, the Italian restaurant—definitely don’t skip that one. Great service, great atmosphere, and a really fun place to unwind. Would absolutely come back.

Rooms were clean and serviced daily. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The So Cal buffet for breakfast and lunch offered the largest number of options. The Mexican restaurant and Brazilian steakhouse were our favourites. We did a pool cabana for one of the days which was great, you can get a good deal if you book with the folks pushing the liquor cart.

El personal la atencion es variable , pocos de buena manera y la mayoria no , claro que si eres americano pues todos te atienden bien. Nunca limpiaron la terraza , las toallas del primer dia ahi se quedaron hasta el momento de check out , muy mal servicio. Pagamos por una de las mejores habitaciones con alberca privada, star class , con mayordomo incluido , el cual un día nos comenta que si ocupamos algo pues que llamemos al “cero” porque a el le toca descansar ! . Que es eso ??? El pago ese de star class , no sirve para nada , no hay exclusividad alguna , en la playa no hay quien respete las zonas por las cuales yo pagué , no hay un solo mesero , tienes que ir tu por bebidas , no hay privilegio alguno , nadie respeta nada y no hay quien revise nada. En los bares y restaurantes, el horario de cierre marcado es una farsa , entre 15 y 30 minutos antes ya no dan el servicio , en todos se les “acaba” el producto , ya estan limpiando y recogiendo y ya no te atienden. La calidad de la comida en general es de regular a mala. ,El restaurante asiatico y el sunset es la parte buena de el hotel, excelente opcion.

Booking here with Expedia was a smart decision as we got our own concierge (Dana and David) who made us dinner reservations and was there from 8 am to 11 pm to help us with whatever we needed. We enjoyed having the adults only side but also all access to the family side. The adults only pool had entertainment and was fun. The beach was beautiful and the restaurants were great.

I booked through Expedia and I didn’t realize that I would be getting two personal assistants basically to assist me during my stay. David and Dana were phenomenal in helping with any questions I had, helping to book reservations not only for myself and my husband but my family staying on the family side of the resort. They also arranged for transportation for day trips and for our way back to the airport. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and to answer any questions that we had.

When we first arrived at the resort they told us we had an Expedia concierge service, which we have never had before. David and Dana constantly went above and beyond for us! The each texted us every day to make sure our stay was going smoothly, and to see if there was anything we needed. They made our stay truly memorable, and would 100% go back to this resort just because of them!

The staff were amazing, the accommodations were wonderful. The food was not bad, but not anything to write home about. I also Admired how well they treated us because we booked through Expedia. Some hotels I've stayed at in the pass treated me like a second class guest because i didn't book through their site. This experience was amazing. Both Dana and David (concierge) were outstanding

Let's start with the good, Dana our Expedia Ambassador concierge was amazing! Friendly, checked with us daily to see if there was anything we needed, a nice bonus I wasn't aware of prior to check in. The staff at all levels were lovely The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The resort itself was nicely laid out with the adults scene away from the hustle and bustle of the family scene, however, the lack of entertainment in the evening, in the adult scene, was disappointing. The only evening entertainment was located on the family side. The pools were clean, however finding a lounge chair was before 7am when the pool opened was challenging on most of the days I stayed. Disappointed to find out that the hot tub was closed at 7pm, this added to the frustration of no entertainment on the adult scene. The lazy river was fun, however if your an adult, be prepared to be told you can't go down the slide, but then watch another adult slide on down. Disappointing and added to the already exiting frustration. The A La Carte meals were delicious! The buffet had limited hours, could be a bit more considerate of the time gaps between lunch and when A La Carte time slots. There was no self serve drink stations available, you had to wait at the bar for any kind of drink, unless you hike it to Guys Burger Joint. No coffee stations available / open prior to 6am. No coffee station on the adult Scene. Overall, I would not come back to this resort, it didn't not meet my expectations

We had a wonderful time! We loved the swim out room and will always want a swim out room going forward. The main pool was great as well. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Big thank you to Harvey at the pool who room such great care of us - we always had a yummy frozen drink waiting for us. This resort is very clean, very friendly and a great choice if you are travelling with kids or adults. The food was great, service was great. We really enjoyed the Indian, Teppanyaki and the seafood restaurants. The breakfast buffet was great with a gal making omelettes and frying eggs if you wanted. A wonderful trip! Thank you!

Excellent resort, covers all the bases. Large family area with Lazy river & kids pool. Adult pool with entertainment each day - including foam party. Star class Pool for a more sedate pace. Beach that goes on for 2 miles each way. Great way to walk off the Cocktails from the night before. 11 restaurants - tried them all. Mexican was average - the rest were excellent with unique features. Indian surprisingly good for a resort, Braza excellent for meat lovers. Teppanyaki is very good & the chef's put on a great show. The buffet had more than enough choice & it was always easy to grab a table. The resort is well spread out so never feels too crowded, perhaps the Pools are busy (bed wars!) The entertainment was quality - Avatar show was different level to other resorts. Staff are all hard working & friendly, give them a tip, they deserve it. If I came back to Mexico , I would choose Plant Hollywood.

Amazing resort, amazing staff (Thanks to Virginia at the premiere lounge). The room was very nice and clean. Lots of day and night actives to keep you entertained. Dana, the representative from Expedia was amazing.
