The staff is amazing. Attentive and friendly. If you staff at the royal service side. Ask for Daniel as your butler. At La Palapa restaurant Oscar and Cesar and the best waiters. Melin makes the best drinks.

This was my first time in Cancun and an all inclusive resort. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Everything was so clean and glamorous highly recommend this to anyone. We stood on the adults only side and it felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. The system they have works. Our butler Alex was also amazing! Thank you to the entire Paradisus staff!

Our trip was incredible. Our butler Norma was so sweet and helpful from everything from making reservations for us to helping my now fiancée plan his proposal for me! Food was amazing- we loved Mole the most (incredible!) Our room was always clean and we were always attended to. We will be back!!

It's quiet, well maintained, extremely friendly staff, Valeria at la Palapa pool restaurant is exceptional, good food, fantastic service. Would like to hear music again at the Royal Service pool.

The property location right on the beach is lovely. You can sit and have breakfast or lunch looking right out on the ocean. The property is somewhat dated and there was an on again off again smell of sewerage coming from the drains in our room. There is incense burning around the hotel that is quite strong smelling and sometimes you do get the waft of bad drains as you walk through the property. I have stayed at Playa Del Carmen Paradisus property before and the service was amazing, including our butler. The service at Royal Service Cancun is hit or miss. Our butler booked restaurants for us and that was it. We kept trying to book Cabanas by the pool, we were told we should get at least 1 for our length of stay and we got none. Every time we asked our butler he said they were all booked out by large groups and none available. That was disappointing. Spa was packed and cramped and service was only ok. Gym crowded and small. Beach service was good and very relaxing there. Overall we had a good stay but I will not be returning to this property. It felt like a 3 star resort, a definite step down from the playa Del Carmen property.

The only thing i didn’t like was the heat/ humidity inside the hotel. There were fans at Bana and Eating there was uncomfortably warm. Otherwise everything was amazing! The staff was so amazing, genuinely sincere and sweet

The butler was very attentive, but he couldn’t accommodate my needs. The food at the pool was ok. Some of the people working there are friendly and others look like they don’t want to be there. The Royal Services isn’t an adult hotel. I would not recommend spending the extra money if you want to be away from kids. I tried to relax in the adult pool and kids appeared and they spent time in the pool until one guest got upset and complained. I attempted to have romantic dinner with my fiancée and all I heard was kids screaming and crying while loud music was playing. The check in desk for Royal is not at the front of the hotel, but at the far back of hotel near the beach and is a very long walk. The rooms have really thin wall and a door that connect with the room next door. While laying on the bed I could hear the conversation of the people next door very clearly. I was expecting an adult only resort and I did not get that experience. If you are looking for a family resort this might be the place for you. The hotel looks nice and the food is good.

Los chicos todos amables. El spa horrible necesita up date el hidromasaje sucio y viejo. La comida puede mejorar su elaboración. Las bebidas de primera. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y nuevas. Para mi gusto hotel muy grande pero ya eso es un gusto personal. El hotel ya empieza a deteriorarse y va de a poco necesitando cosas nuevas y mantenimiento ojalá no lo dejen caer porque es hermoso. My fiance and I had an amazing time. We are good critics when it comes to hotels and we had nothing bad to say! The only thing we needed was more days to stay! The moment we stepped into the main lobby, I told my fiance, "We're coming back here with family". The resort is so beautiful and zen. Botanical gardens in every pyramid lobby. We recommend staying in the Royal service pyramid (5th pyramid). Our butler, Alex, was beyond amazing. He was very sweet, always available for us, and a text away via the WhatsUp app. He also took pictures and a video of my fiance's proposal to me and did amazing. He made reservations for the higher end restaurants that are usually booked and also for the bali (day) beds. My advice is to call before you go to book a bali bed. We could not get one until the end of our trip and had already made excursion plans for the last couple days of our trip. Also included with Royal Service that we loved was the entrance into the Spa. We were able to go into the steam room, sauna, spa pool (has nice fountains & massage jets), showers, lounge area with teas and refreshments, and a reflexology stone pathway to walk on. We booked our shuttle to and from the airport to the hotel via orbitz as well which was a breeze to take. Right after we arrived in Cancun, we walked outside and saw a whole line of shuttles. People usually ask you which one and point you in the direction. It was a very easy process.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The gym was small but that’s just a personal preference. The eating options were a bit limited and there was construction going on but it was all in all a pleasant experience

Excellent service au service royal. Service exceptionnel à la plage. Le restaurant la Palapa exclusif à cette section pour le déjeuner et dîner était excellent avec une belle vue. La plage est une de plus belles plages du Mexique aussi belle que des plages à Cuba. Seule déception est que 3 restaurants et buffet principal étaient fermés et le buffet a été réduit et déplacé à un autre endroit. Ni expédia ni le site internet Meliá n’a mentionné cet élément.
