The spa is reasonably priced and excellent. The food acceptable to good But too many children and no separate pool for adults Not good for adult swim unless you like pee water The beach is narrow and the surf is rough here. All inclusive does not include cabanas or upgrades not great for couples.

The food options were excellent; the grounds were very eye catching and we loved the bed. I will probably buy that same mattress. Internet worked perfectly as I had work zoom calls to take. Transport was easily arranged and brought me right to my hotel. The staff went out of their way to handle every issue we had. I only ask that they turn on the AC in the buffet room, (it was WAY TOO to eat daily).

However, after reaching out to Expedia as well as the workers on the property, they went out of their way to make sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed. They checked on us daily and offered various perks such as making reservations at restaurants in their building. They also asked if there was anything additional they can do. We did upgrade a room however we did have to pay quite a bit more, but it was worth the value. The staff here are exceptional, kind, professional, and hard-working. They go out of their way to accommodate guests. The hotel is clean and they are making upgrades because some of the areas are a little bit outdated however overall it’s a great place for families. They have a lot of fun activities and I’m sure when upgrades to rooms and building are made. It will be amazing. There are only two pools as well as a smaller pool with slides for little ones. So for the amount of people who stay in this hotel pools can get a little bit crowded. However, they have an ideal beach spot and ample space for guests. The water was beautiful and out of our eight days that we stayed we got into the ocean six out of them. Overall, a great place to stay and the staff and service they provide is key to what makes this place. Awesome.

The food was above average but the rooms were outdated and there was construction next door. They tried putting us in a room right next to the construction. We had to walk around tarps and ladders to get to our room. We requested a change and were moved to a better location. My kid’s loved the pool areas so that saved the trip for us.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel!There was not AC at the main lobby,the floor was completely wet .The pool is very small for the hotel capacity,there is not enough umbrellas and seats at the pool .As soon as I got into the hotel,I went to the pool’s bar and I asked for a beer and they refused to serve me a beer because it wasn’t 11:00 am yet.I had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the waiter attention at the main bar in order to have some drinks.This hotel doesn’t match the description and pictures!I decided to cancel my stay at this property and I moved to a better hotel for our family vacation!Very rude staff and terrible customer service at this place!The property is old and dirty.The food at the buffet was below average!

The food was horrible everything was dry or flavorless. The Mexican restaurant was the worst which was disappointing when you’re in Mexico. The kids area is ok but there could be more supervision on the large slide and the floor all around the kids area gets so hot it burns your feet. The babies play ship gets so hot it’s painful and the slides on it go way too fast for a small child. The worst part was there was all common areas and restaurants were way too hot. It was cooler out at the pool and ocean. My family would sweat through every meal and feel sick from the hot stale air. We mentioned this to a waiter and they said yeah they’d fixed the ac on the lower flow but hadn’t yet in the restaurants. The rooms were nice and clean but the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable. The AC in the room is so loud you can’t sleep.

The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Our room was cleaned and mini-fridge stocked every day before we returned from breakfast. The staff is wonderful and accomodating. The pool was well maintained, but with that many people in one pool, it's hard to keep pristine. The beach was great, but the seaweed this year is a problem everywhere so not a ding on the resort itself. We always felt cared for, safe, and comfortable. Entertainment options are adequate. Great for a lazy vacay.

Cafe, taco stand, and Italian restaurant has the best food! Breakfast at azul not good at all. Food in the resort is alright, sometimes too salty or overcooked. The juices were pretty refreshing and delicious. The hotel is a little outdated and the cleanliness is good. Didn’t provide the proper amount of bathroom amenities for a 4 person room. Wish the pools were bigger. Sauna and hot tub should be included like other normal hotels. Massage and spa is added cost and many others felt the pricing was overpriced. The view of the beach is beautiful but there were a large amount of seaweeds.

The food, rooms and service were great! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The main pool area was a little small and crowded. The main lobby bar was always really warm with minimum air flow throughout the area. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to people looking for a family friendly resort.

The food was great, the bed was always nice and comfortable, the WiFi was running pretty good and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good. The workers are all very kind and attentive if you need anything. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a peaceful family friendly environment but still has fun nights filled with live music!

Great beach but there were a lot of seaweeds that prevent you from enjoying it 100%. Hotel facility is old. The service was okay and you can feel there was different attitude amongst staff. Pool was small and overcrowded. Sauna and hot tub comes with extra charge which is unreasonable, but spa and massage understandable but they still overcharge. Food was overcooked and salty. Only good food was tacos stand next to pool, cafe, and the Italian restaurant. Please avoid Azul for dinner. The alcoholic beverage was okay and the juice was better. Aquaworld activities are also priced very expensive for per person. Unsure why room service missed the room when they are doing the room next to it.

The staff was incredible. Everyone was kind to guests and to each other. We felt very safe as there was always someone available to help with transportation, booking outings, etc. The food was very good. I wish there was a bit more music/entertainment.

A beautiful family friendly resort! Kind amd welcoming staff and very clean. Such a cherry on top that we saw sea turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs.
