Moon Palace Cancun - All-Inclusive

"Stayed at sunrise moon palace and the pools were probably the best part, lots of entertainment, we took our 3 kids and there was more to do than we had a chance to, we stayed 8 days and there was always some event going on. 24 hrs room service was a must, some of the nights we were too tierd to go out to dinner and simply just ordered room service, the food was actually really good, my favorite was the crepe/Coffee shop. To be honest I got sick in the middle of our trip. Im not sure what caused it but I brought charcoal pills and by the end of the day I felt way better. I highly suggest you bring money to tio because if you are out by the pool ot beach and you tip. The service is 100% very we better... only thing i didnt like was the beach, it had soo much Seaweed! The water was filled with it. We brought our snorkeling masks and u still couldn't see anything in the water because of the Seaweed, but honestly it wasnt that big a deal. We got to release baby turtles into the sea one night and my kids will never forget that"

"It was ok, not fabulous. The entertainment was average. Not much to do. The food was good but not great. Nothing that really stood out. The staff was awesome, very helpful and friendly. The place is only 8 years old but hasn’t been maintained well. It was nice but probably would not go back."

"Loved the set up at the resort, very traditional buildings. Is older so definitely could use some upgrades. Main pool got quite noisy in the afternoon. All the staff were fantastic, always willing to help. Loved the staff in the Buffett. Great central lobby/bar area. Lots of seating and great area for entertainment in the evenings. Would definitely stay there again."

"We just returned from 5 nights with my husband & 5-year-old. Pros: The resort is beautifully maintained, clean & common areas are all close by so there is not a long walk to each place. The food is mostly good, but the menus are lacking in some basic areas. I.e. - chicken fingers are not available for kids. Basic sandwiches are not available for grab-and-go lunch, etc. Housekeeping did a great job all week, but the hours of their service were not predictable. Staff were welcoming at our arrival & helpful throughout our stay. The place really is kid-friendly, with activities for kids each day/night and a separate kid pool area. Though it could be expanded upon to offer more slides, etc. Offering recycling and no single-use plastic is a great effort for the environment. Plenty of pools to choose from & the crowds were non-existent most of the time. Cons: We were in building 3 with a lookout suite. Building 3 is right by the party pool, where there are adult activities daily. This makes it impossible for an afternoon nap; assigning families to a different building may be more practical. If you are going for the beach, this is not the resort. The beach is extremely small & seaweed is still a significant problem even in October. Food menus could be expanded, as well as the room service menu. There is no breakfast on the room service menu & only 1 breakfast option & really one lunch option at the buffet. Dinner offers the only variety. Room service should be available 24/7."
