"This was overall an excellent resort. It was very clean including the rooms. Staff were very friendly. The check in experience was great! The food was delicious, plenty of restaurants/food selection at this resort. We had a great time. The reason for the 4 star and not a 5 star review: I tried to contact the hotel directly before attending to confirm our reservation as we booked through Expedia. I was only able to speak to a call centre and I was told there was absolutely no way for me to speak to someone at the hotel and that there was no way to confirm the reservation as I had booked through a third party. I thought this was bizarre and made me feel uneasy not knowing our reservation was confirmed with the hotel directly. Poolside drink service was slow and there were a couple occasions where we would order a drink and it didn't show (even with a tip). This was our Honeymoon, we received a card to bring to a restaurant of our choosing for a romantic dinner which included a bottle of wine. Our waiter began to go over the wine menu and we made a decision. We were then asked if the wine was to be charged to our room, we declined as we thought a bottle was included with our experience. We were provided with a bottle of the house wine which seemed redundant as we could just order as many glasses of house wine as we wanted. The overall dinner experience wasn't anything special. This resort was a bit too expensive for what it was. "

"Our multigenerational family enjoyed everything about this resort! The staff was friendly, and accommodating, and the service was impeccable in every venue including housekeeping. Our junior suite was luxurious and so comfy and clean. We enjoyed a combination of the beach and pools each day...so fun! Food was outstanding, and beautifully presented, and it being all-inclusive made the stay so easy! Our gluten free and dairy free family members had so many delicious choices! It truly was a tropical paradise, and the amazing staff made it even more so. Highly recommend!!"

"The place was very outdated. It was clean. The staff was nice. It had the smallest buffet I have ever seen . We did not starve but it was not good. Need to spend an extra dollar and go somewhere different. "

So we had a little Bluetooth speaker (that we bought from the onsite gift store) we used by the pool, not even loud, people complained. We had a group of 10, 2 of them got up from their pool chairs to get a drink, another couple tried taking there seats, they flipped out and went and cried to staff that we were hogging chairs and it “wasn’t "

"We booked Garza Blanca Resort through Expedia. On Feb 22, after dining at the resort, both of us suffered severe food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea) and were confined to our room for most of the trip. I was even unconscious, and my partner had swollen lips. This ruined our anniversary trip. We request your assistance with a refund or travel credit."
