Beautiful beaches and heaps of cute wee places to eat and drink. Great area to get in some surf lessons. Downside for me was its super busy and touristy compared to the islands. And its not pedestrian friendly, definitely rent a scooter.

Canggu is a bit spread out and you need transport ,a scooter is ideal ,taxis are cheap or use go jek to get around .

Love canggu for its up and coming vibes and alllllll of the amazing food! Heaven. Canggu oddly, is also good for children if you know where to go. It is however, NOT conducive to strollers. Taxi everywhere is your friend
