"Surprisingly nice after having read recent reviews, we were for one night at the second floor witch looks pretty good and lucky that there were not a lot of guests. The sheared bath is renovated but the shower was not cleaned, spots of red mold were visible between tiles. Very well situated, minutes away from downtown."

"We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel! It was clean, within walking distance to BSI and downtown Reykjavik. The beds were comfortable and sharing a bathroom was not an issue. We had a triple room and it was big enough for all three of us. Instructions were easy to follow and we had no trouble getting in late at night. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the speed of the wifi, but otherwise it was had a great visit. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!"

"This was such a cute property. We received check in instructions day before and was very easy to get in. Finding the guesthouse was a bit difficult but we asked someone in the bakery next door and they were able to direct us. It’s right next door to a convenience store. The guesthouse itself is huge and has everything you need. You do take stairs to get to your room but not a big deal and we found parking on the street. "The good thing about this place is the location. Otherwise I do not recommend. The one bathroom serves 5 guest rooms. There was a very loud grunge band playing two nights until midnight, so sleep is not possible. The alleyway to get there was very dirty. There was no place to put our clothes, just lived out of suitcase. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"This was one of the more affordable hotels. They had a common kitchen and sitting area. There is a grocery store right next door that is convenient. Location is a little too far outside the city center attractions. No staff on site so communication is done by email. It worked for us, but it would have been nice to have staff around for questions. The room was clean and good size. It had a table with two chairs which is nice."

"Faulty keypad meant that I struggled to get into the room and was locked out several times. As it's an unmanned property they only way to resolve any issues was to call a support line. Which is great of your phone isn't locked in your room. I found the property to be a basic and rundown, it's more of a hostel than a nice guesthouse.
