"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bask Hotel in Morehead City. The location on the waterfront is hard to beat—beautiful views and easy walking access to several great restaurants and things to do around town. The hotel itself is nicely renovated, and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. There’s also plenty of parking for most guests, which is a big plus. While unloading isn’t the most convenient, it’s manageable and not too far from the entrance. We appreciated the small touches like available coffee and the option to purchase snacks, water, soft drinks, and even beer. The lobby and sitting areas overlooking the waterway are updated and provide a relaxing place to unwind. The main downside for us was the in-room HVAC unit, which was fairly loud. In our room, one of the vents was positioned right above the bed and pushed out quite a bit of air, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. Also, it’s worth noting that the hotel doesn’t offer additional amenities like a pool or on-site activities—it’s more of a place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Because of that, it feels better suited for adults rather than families looking for lots of on-site entertainment. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It’s a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location—perfect for a laid-back waterfront getaway."

"AMAZING! Once you stay here, you will definitely want to return. The complimentary breakfast will save you lots of money and is absolutely delicious! The complimentary water, coffee and mini desserts throughout the day is a very special touch to your trip. I'll be craving those tiny desserts until I can go back. The branded Margaritaville shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion in the room makes your stay very convenient, you do not even need to bring your own because these smell out of this world! The place is SO clean, not to mention the branded air freshener that you long to smell once you leave. The atmosphere in the lobby is very welcoming. My family and I spent a lot of time there making memories, playing games and ordering desserts and pina coladas! The chocolate cake is a "must!" This is an all around perfect place to stay. It is convenient for walking to the Beaufort waterfront, fishing and dining. Towels are provided at the pool and you can lounge at the pool and order lunch and dinner! We will definitely be returning to paradise!"

"I arrived on the new site manager’s third day on the job. Her excitement was palpable throughout my stay. The property manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, from my pre-trip check-in forward. This property reminds me of Old Atlantic Beach, before the million-dollar rentals and greed-mongering became so prevalent. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good! The walk to the beach is manageable, and my room was CLEAN! Shout-out to the housekeeper, too. He does a great job. Keep this place busy, but save me a room for next season."
