"The innkeeper was so helpful and the room was so quiet and near to parking, with very little walking involved for elderly people! We enjoyed having the little reading room for a quiet evening. The fireplace and coffee in the morning was a delight. Each breakfast was very unique and created with obvious care."

"The man at the front was rude to us from the start. Once we got into our room it was nasty the mattress was brown and lumpy. The room was not cleaned there was hair on the bathroom floor and it smelled very musty. We decided to leave because we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping here and the front guy made it very clear we were unable to get a refund. Overall bad experience. "

Also, a large number of ants entered the house through a hole, at floor level, in the door frame between the two adjacent bedrooms at the end of the hallway (which we plugged temporarily with paper towel). "Absolutely loved staying at El Rey Court. The design and overall vibe of the property were so fun, relaxing, and thoughtfully done — it has that perfect mix of cool boutique energy while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. We loved all of the amenities, especially the outdoor spaces and little details throughout the property. Everything felt clean, curated, and intentional. It really added to the whole Santa Fe experience for us. Would absolutely stay here again and already can’t wait to come back!"

"There wasn’t enough lighting in the room or bathroom. VERY DARK. I called the front desk and they were very nice and sent up a make up mirror that list power after a few minutes. Also a floor lamp that had a broken switch, you needed to plug in to work. There were no luggage racks. The breakfast eggs and potatoes were only luke warm and dried out. The tables were not wiped off between users. Only 1 ice machine and it was in the lobby, far away from our room. "
