"The hotel was OK. It's on a street that is full of bars, not many dining options. The restaurants that come up in search are all closed. Walk about 10 minutes and you can get to a couple of street stands. The room advertises microwave in-room, but there was none there. The service staff barged into the room to clean even though we have the Do Not Disturb sign on, we had to talk to them about that. "Too bad.... The location, food and staff were great, but our room smelled of cat pee! They tried to cover it up with air freshners, which had us fooled the first night, but by the time we returned from our day tour the next day, the bathroom in our room smelt so bad, we had to keep the door closed and remove all of our things. We had to brush our teeth in the main room, and hold our breath to use the toilet! When we complained about this, they did not offer an acceptable resolution or compensate us in any way for the inconvenience. This lack of attention to the client experience, especially given that this is a health concern for anyone staying in these conditions, was unacceptable. "

"This hotel was lovely and the staff was great! Everything about this hotel was very nice and it was very clean. I did have a complication there with my original room which I had a mini leak through the wall. I called the front desk and they cleaned it up and I was offered another room with a upgrade from my regular room to a VIP suite with a swimming pool in the room. I thought that was very kind and generous of them. So yes, this place is very accommodating. I traveled by myself and felt extremely safe and well taken care of. So yes I definitely would recommend to solo travelers."
