"Very nice quirky hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was yummy snd freshly cooked. Staff pleasant the hotel is very small with rooms upstairs. A very narrow set of stairs to the rooms. Ours was on the third level and it was hard to get our bags up. I would stay there again but i would take a small bag with what i needed to the room and leave the suitcases in the car. Street parking. Just what i imagined an English pub to be. Lovely "

"My room was very clean and comfortable. It’s a nice quiet location very close to summer town centre. The lady was very nice and welcoming. Very hot shower which was nice.. I would stay again should I be up that way again."

"This guest house was superbly clean, comfortable and warm. Travelled with two other adults and had a spacious room which could easily have taken 4. We were welcomed by Lucy who instantly made us feel at home in Green Haven and the local area. Short distance from the town centre and theatre. Although on a main road was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend it. Will definitely return. "

"Room was Iovely - clean, well appointed and very comfortable bed with high end linens. Nice big bathroom with tub and shower. Beautiful views of a meadow and very quiet. We loved that it was out of the way but others may want to be closer to Oxford. "

"I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast...

"The property was well located and with free onsite parking. The room was a good size with en suite and very very clean. Helen was lovely and very attentive. The breakfast was perfect, well cooked and very tasty. Would recommend very highly."
