"Staff were very nice but the arrival registration at 3pm was very slow due to large line of customers. Room very nice, upgrade but looking out onto a wall and air conditioner yard. Not very happy with that. Website showed gardens. Also lighting very dull."

"Great property. When we ran into troubles with the hot tub the owner was super responsive. The only downside was that there were only 2 towels so I recommend taking towels for the hot tub if you plan to use it."

"Make sure you get the room you ordered and not at the seperate cheap and horrible room in the other side of the Hotel complained and moved us booked for two days hotel said one night supervisor manager pedro agreed 2 day room was locked after we cane back from shopping and hotel wanted to charge double the rate. Been a few times but will never go back. Really disappointed "

"Hôtel très bien situé, facilement accessible de la gare ou de la gare routière. Le centre ville n'est pas très loin non plus, les balades le long du canal sont plutôt agréables. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour à Chester."

"The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. We had a 3rd floor room which overlooked the canal. It was very nice, with comfy beds and some original, industrial features. The only negative was the bathroom. It had a bath, which we never use, and a shower over it. The water pressure was poor, the shower kept running cold. The bathroom definitely needed an upgrade, a walk in shower would have really made a difference. The spa area was nice, the pool was a good...

"We arrived by train and the hotel is any easy 10 minute walk from the station and then just under 10 minutes to the town centre. The hotel was lovely. I cannot think of anything to be negative about. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and I loved the decor. (We were in a 'clocks' room.) All the staff were pleasant and helpful and there is both a restaurant and bar food. The food in both was very good and slightly unusual. Chester itself is a great place to visit and it is easy to go into...

"Historic pub within walking distance of everything you need to see within the beautiful city of Chester. No hesitation in staying there again. "

"Room was great for four of us after a day at the zoo and before a city visit the next day. Good walkable location. A small issue getting access but sorted by the host on the phone. Beware: there is NO parking at the property- I booked as it was a highlighted feature but there is no parking here. We were given advice by the host to park across the road in the Delamere car park which was fine (£9.50- arrived 8pm left next day at 2pm) but just an error on Expedia. Found the room quiet and warm....

"Comfortable and clean room. Gym was good. WiFi was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the town centre. No parking with the hotel but options available nearby. Hotel bar was comfortable, ideally would have been nice to have better choice of ales on tap. Thanks "
