The staff was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. Location was also great and there was easy access to the on-site parking. It's a neat building, too.

I always try to book my stay at this hotel whenever I am in Chicago. The customer service, and rooms are always high quality. The on-site cafe is as added bonus, and the owners always have such delicious food, and outstanding customer service.

Good stay overall, great staff.

Hotel is older so its a bit rundown, but overall the rooms are nice, need updated but nice. Staff at front desk was very nice and polite as well as cleaning staff. Great people, just need to invest in rooms.

The property is very nice and the staff are excellent. The south loop area has several empty buildings and not a lot of foot traffic, which makes it feel less safe than other areas in Chicago. But if you’re visiting for an event at McCormick, this is a great hotel to stay at.

Great staff in a just ok hotel

The hotel was good enough for our trip. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was dated and didn't offer any of the amenities that the website stated. There was no breakfast, no restaurant, or no bar. Part of the reason we chose the hotel was for the amenities.

It was a good stay. The biggest benefit is the parking. The only negatives: Weak wifi...made the streaming on the tv unmatchable. The elevators were broken. No breakfast. Ive stayed before, and ill stay again. Clean Solid front end staff Free parking Location os decent

Friendly staff but that’s about it.

The hotel was run down and dirty. It needs updating. Our room carpet was stained and furniture was visibly scratched/damaged. The soaker tub in the bathroom was the best thing in the room. Sheets were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful though. Disappointed for the amount I paid to stay there.

The hotel did not have some services published on the website, like breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel permanently closed the restaurant, doesn't have a functional business center, no laundry available. It is understaffed, furniture is broken in the rooms, lack of maintenance in the rooms, dirty carpet and in general the facility is outdated. Way too expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Place was clean and the staff was nice. We usually stay here when we are in town for show at McCormick Place. Room itself was fine but still expensive for the issues we had. There were a couple things like only one bath towel, no hand soap, burned out lightbulb that were all fixable. The party of 60 people in the parking lot outside our window for 2-3 hours was obnoxious. Surprised the hotel staff didn’t shut it down. Might consider a different hotel next year.

The overnight staff was professional and kind. I really appreciated that. The shower got hot, but not very hot like I ike it. It also sprayed water while running and while turning off. I could see dust on the walls. The place was very quiet which made for a good night's rest. Vending only had beverages and the front desk only had chips & beverages for purchase. Options for breakfast/room service only included ordering from an off site vendor.

No longer one of our favorite hotel

We’ve stayed in this hotel a few times many years ago, it seems that the property has gone down since our last visit. Carpet in our room was filthy, the shower curtain smelled of mildew, and as we were getting ready to check out, what appeared to be a roach ran across the desk. We used to love this property, the parking and location was ideal for us, whenever we came to town for a concert or play. But after this last visit, we do not have plans on returning. The one positive is that the employees were friendly and attentive.

I had to book two rooms. My husband, myself, my mom and our five children all needed to be comfortable. My original rooms were on two different floors and the front desk clerk changed the rooms so we would be on the same floor. I didn't even have to ask for that accomodation. She also knew who I was, even though I booked at the last minute. She was very polite and gave paper with a pack of crayons to each of my children. The rooms were clean and warm. Very comfortable.
