"Yes the rooms are outdated, however, it was perfect for our one night stay. It was clean and quiet. I would easily stay for a weekend! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The elevator was out of service, so we did get help with our luggage. Highly recommend it and there was plenty of great free parking on the property. I think they are working on making some updates to the place, which would be fantastic!"

"Rooms were nice and clean, check in swift and staff friendly. Had the worst nights sleep of my life though. Had to move rooms at 12am as couldn’t get to sleep in my first room due to a constant drone sound from a pump in the building. Reception staff moved me immediately. Finally settled down in the new room only for the fire alarm to go off at 2am. I’m sure my experience would’ve been fine had it not been for those problems"

"Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Yes it was budget and it was just for an overnight stop in a continuing journey but broken tiles, broken and damaged panels & threadbare curtains. No staff available in the morning to discuss. Just very Delapidated and way past worn out!!"

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

A wonderful old building so there are some oddly shaped corridors as you'd expect but they only add charm to what is already a fabulous location and venue. The room was clean, comfortable and I felt right at home the moment I got there. All the facilities you can expect in a hotel room. Bed was comfy, sheets were clean. "Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again "

"Zimmer war in Ordnung, für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Leider keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Die Fenster können nicht ganz geöffnet werden. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist eine Filiale von McDonalds mit entsprechenden Geruch."

"Got up at 6 am to go to washroom & there had been a flood from next door & saturated our carpet & all we got was free taxi to Cruise Port. We felt they should have comped the room. We will think twice about staying there again."
