"We always love staying here with our dogs when we visit Carmel. It’s a great place to stay! We got a balcony this time and our dogs loved it! It’s super close to the beach and there are some dog friendly food places to eat at in walking distance. It’s always pretty clean and the staff is very friendly. We’d definitely come back"

"The second guest services man was helpful and changed our room due to terrible noise and musty smell in the first room. He was very helpful. This hotel needs a HUGE remodel however. It is old, dated and the locks on the rooms are very antiquated. The shower/tub in the larger suite was odd and claustrophobic. I’m sorry but I would never stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. I travelled with two small dogs and stayed for 3 nights. First impression was rough because our room had only 1 bedside table. We need one on each side of the bed for our CPAP machines. We were able to use the luggage rack and made a side table. There was enough space for the pups gear in the room. They have as much "luggage" as I do. The crown jewel of this inn is the doggie area. They made a genius decision to turn the old pool area into a fantastic, secure...

"Firstly, I'd like to applaud management for accommodating me. I accidentally booked two days earlier than needed and they honored my booking for the real dates.. Albeit I paid more for the Friday but it was worth it. The room was great, quiet and clean. The down side was the bed (for us) hard as a floor (but doable for 2 nights). Also, I look forward to coffee in the am and there was a coffee machine in the room but no creamer... The rather loud fridge could have had some creamer which would...
