"If parking the entrance is through the arch on the left at China town. Entrance is in the bottom right corner. You need to press the buzzer to get in. It is a very, very tight entrance. You need to go down on the left side and straighten car up almost against the bottom wall to get angle for entry! While we were getting parked a BMW driver hit the front left side of his car on the door on way in! Then he scraped the full length of his left back door and wheel arch on the huge concrete pillar....

"The staff were very helpful & informative.
The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff.
The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room.
The spa facilities were nice & clean."

"Room was clean but very dated however for what we paid we can't really complain. Parking is free in onsite car park you just need to enter registration number at reception. We meet family for a meal, menu typical pub food but all perfectly acceptable and staff very pleasant. Walled outside seating area which was nice for having a drink as weather was warm. The hotel is on the high street so be aware that you will experience some traffic noise especially if your room is at the front. "

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website.
Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to.
Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"Gorgeous property, incredible old building and lovely grounds - the bar leads out to a garden where we enjoyed beers and great food, and the kids played hide n seek amongst the impressive topiary.
Pool/ steam room etc was lovely and not too busy - heads up that if you have kids, even biggish ones, there are kid-free pool hours (from 5 I think) so if you arrive later in the evening you may not get them in. But the staff were very friendly and accommodating and let my tired kids in for a bit...
