"Charming hotel and grounds, really friendly and accommodating staff, and exceptionally dog-friendly. The harness/lead sets in the room were both a surprise and a delight. We didn't get to try the spa this time, however other guests mentioned the spa(s) were really good too. Quite a bit of work being done in the grounds, but all looks like additional development/features, but in Feb, so not a problem at all. We'll definitely be back."

The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. "Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the decor good and interesting pictures. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The only negative from my husband was that there wasn't a shaver socket in the bathroom."
