"This is a must stay if you’re going to Venice and seeking a luxury hotel. The rooms are beautiful, as well as the hotel overall. There is a courtyard that felt so indulgent after a day of exploring. The location allowed us to pop in and out and explore at our own pace. While all of that was excellent, the main reason you should stay here is because of the service. "Room was spotless and had great views over the water towards the grand canal. Lovely that it is just outside of the hustle and bustle with plenty of cafes/ restaurants close by. Arsenale waterbus stop is just a few minutes from the door which was so handy. Breakfast was great, loads of choice and anything we had was nice. We also had a few drinks sitting outside the hotel one evening which was beautiful watching the sunset and very reasonable pricing. Staff were fantastic, had no issues at...

"Great location in Venice, a short walk to St Mark’s Square. Room was consistent with Venetian style decor. Also overlooks the canal and a bridge which makes it a wonderful place for taking photos. Opening the door through the app was not straightforward but there is option to get a physical key instead. Check in was done online and was hassle free. Room was ready when we arrived. Would stay here again."

"The room is in a great place in Venice. Very clean and nice inside.people is very nice. The only small issue is if you take this room Make sure is the main hotel phone number handy in your invoice so you can get the card to go to your room. Expedia do not specify the contact well.. "Lovely room and a great breakfast with hot and cold options to suit everyone. We were on the top floor in room 3007 which had a connecting door with the next room. Not something we needed as it was just the two of us but it would've been great if we were with the teenage kids. The location was also great. Close to St Mark’s but tucked away enough to have a quieter atmosphere. It was really quiet at night… we slept well. "

" Hotel Montecarlo is in an excellent location, just off St. Mark’s Piazza in a quiet area. It was easy to walk to nearby sites and restaurants from the hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was very welcoming. While the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Montecarlo again in the future. "

"It's an older hotel but ideally located and the staff was exceptional. I stayed in a single room and although it was small it was functional but for me the bed was quite narrow. I loved the view from the window but because it was on the top floor, the shower was very difficult because a low slanted beam was right in the middle of the bathtub/shower so I had to constantly dip my head, I'm 5'10" so perhaps shorter people wouldn't have had that issue. If I stayed again I'd book a larger room, but...
