"The room was clean and tidy, spacious, bed was lumpy, and there is a green light on all night so room is never dark. Staff were very polite and friendly. Restaurant was very hit and miss with there opening times. But plenty of other Restaurants outside hotel. Breakfast had limited cereals, cooked breakfast had overcooked sausages and bacon and was overpriced at £17. "The location was nice. We had a sea view room. The problem is that the room also faced the road and we could hear cars all night. And, the mattress was the worst I have ever come across in a hotel. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The bathroom had heated floors however, which was very nice. "

"We had a marvellous stay at this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was full of character, and the bed comfortable. We used the pool twice, with the booking system working well with the adults only session being honoured. We ate dinner in the restaurant - the food choice was great, and prices both for dinner and wine fair and reasonable. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Somerset."

"It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay."

"We never had a view, we looked out to the back of buildings,which was ok,we dont mind too much, the mattress was shocking, really saggy at the top end on 1 side, we ended up turning the mattress, as it felt like i was sleeping on a hill."
