"I have been in this area a lot and never gave any attention to the hotel. I am moving out of my apartment that is a few miles away and did not like the look or reputation of several hotels in the area. I did book another cheaper hotel in the area. "I enjoyed my stay. Don’t book thinking it will be upscale, it has its moments but it is charming in its own way. Our view of the city was nice but the windows had water stains. However, compared to other hotel prices in the area, I’m not complaining. Don’t expect a quiet area as it is downtown so the streets are loud at night. My only issue was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night and middle of the day when we were recovering from being woken up that night. Both were false alarms...

"The location was pretty remote but so was the location I was attending. There isn't a bar in the hotel nor a real restaurant.So dining and meetings need to be at other locations. Breakfast was good"

"Great hotel to stay at! We had an event at the DAC which was walking distance. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful! A cool, art deco vibe in the place. Rooms are tight. Hallways are dark. Both are part of the boutique vibe. The café in the lobby is great choice to pick up a coffee and light breakfast. We took our coffee outside to the relaxing garden with rod iron tables and chairs and enjoy the city in the morning. The Candy Bar is small, but very cool place to go for a drink!"

"The room was okay, very dark lighting, and very small window so you could hardly see anything. We found quite a lot of short hair on the bathroom floor. So it was not sparkling clean. We truly did not like the communal soap and shampoo dispensers by the sink and in the shower. That is extremely against any sterile rules. Post Covid and other viruses, no thanks! Even without Covid, how many hands that touched people's private parts and then the dispenser, that's a no no! Distasteful and not...

"Gray stay, easy walk to the ballpark and so many options for dinner and entertainment. Staff were great and helpful. Will definitely be back. Getting to the parking area was slightly challenging"

"Great hotel overall — clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good location. The only downside was kids running up and down the hallways loudly well past 10 PM. Unfortunately, nothing was done about it after complaints, which made it hard to relax and sleep. If the hotel enforced quiet hours better, this would have been a near perfect stay."
