"The Derby is a boutique hotel with high end decor and finishings. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to have our room ready prior to the standard check in time. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room size was smaller than I expected for a King Suite. The small window and slanted ceilings made it seem even smaller. A bench or luggage rack would’ve been helpful as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

Issue was with a VERY LOUD party with deep bass music blasting till midnight. 5th floor rooms and I guess the party on the 6th floor and every beat could be felt Earplugs not helpful. Poorly planned or poorly designed event space but do not stay here if any events w music being held! Ridiculous. So much for any rest before a long flight."

"A lovely, atmospheric place very conveniently located to the train station and other sites. Several nooks for curling up with a book if you desire. My room on the top floor was gorgeous and a decent size. Depending which room, you may have to navigate stairs, but that was no issue for me.
