"Happy with the accomodation with regard to the room facilities, AC unit kept changing the temperature overnight leaving the room cold in the morning. Location is good within the city. Close to amenities and good food places. Real let down was the pool and spa. Absolutely freezing, if it was heated it was either not working or the 2 ice baths sitting next to them were being emptied into the pool. "This is a good hotel as far as the rooms go which were very clean and spacious. However, there were a few things that were disappointing. The restaurant is only open from Tuesday to Saturday and never open for breakfast. There is a shopping centre down the road and apparently a coffee shop close by but as I was on a tight schedule this was really inconvenient. Be mindful there's no reception or housekeeping on a Sunday, no big deal if you know but I did not. If your stay is a leisurely one then...

"Been to this hotel a number of times, it now feels it needs ‘something’ to set it apart from its contemporaries in the same area. Paying extra for a corner room, we found the bathroom was less lux than most other bathrooms in similar properties, no bath, under pressured small standard shower etc. the staff remain awesome, as does the bar but In a saturated Adelaide market, with new hotels planned, despite being a recent addition, the Crowne must adapt & make changes or it will be less favoured."
