"This is a beautiful resort with a friendly and welcoming staff. Xithal at the Café and Pablo at the Peruvian restaurant went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and their outstanding service truly stood out. That said, based on our previous experiences at other all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, this stay fell a bit short. We booked the Preferred Club upgrade, but throughout our stay we were frequently told that several of the advertised top-shelf liquors were unavailable. We weren’t requesting anything particularly rare or ultra-premium—just brands like Johnnie Walker Black Label. As a result, the exclusive Preferred Club bar offered essentially the same selection as the standard bars throughout the resort, which made the upgrade feel less worthwhile. Overall, the staff was excellent, but we hope the resort improves the availability of the amenities and premium offerings that are included with the Preferred Club experience."

"The all inclusive hotel was well kept together, very convenient to shop around and catch the ferry to Isla mujeres. Only 1 thing to comment about is the loud noise that young adults would come from having too much fun at 3am, you can hear so much of the noise in the middle of the night."

"I most certainly will be returning to AVA Resort! The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff make the experience unforgettable. There are so many things to do on the resort, that you truly don't have to leave while you're there unless you want to do an excursion. The food was amazing, the service was 10/10, and everyone we engaged with while there was super kind! I traveled with a group of 11 and staff did a great job of trying to get us reservations together on most nights, as well as assist us when we booked on excursion. Also, the staff is extremely sweet and we made many connections while there! They were patient and supportive my brother and I who are learning Spanish and wanted to practice speaking while there. Lastly, it was a surreal experience to be there during the world cup and to witness Mexico winning. The memories made on this trip will forever be a part of me. I can not wait to return! :)"
