"The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again "

"Comfortable bed. Car parking was questionable as the public from the multiple fast food outlets out the front of the hotel all parked in the same area and we had to pay £10 for the parking privilege for a 2 night stay. We removed all luggage from vehicle because we didn’t feel safe leaving it to be viewed in the vehicle."

"The ceiling was leaking liquid down the bathroom wall. The room was not set up for 2 people. There should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, wash gel, etc. Could not figure out how to turn on towel warmer. Upside is the you g lady at the reception desk was very responsive. "

"Clean room, easy parking with friendly and professional staff. Warm welcome with a lovely Tavern for a drink, limited menu for dinner but very tasty simple food. The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances. For families with young children there was a small park, story telling with Zog and Knights interacting throughout dinner."

"We stayed in a room that had a shower over the bath, quite a step to get out, we feel a bath mat should be provided. The towels are lovely and big, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows need replacing. Nice place to stay as it’s an easy walk into town. Yes we would stay here again."

"Staff very friendly and welcoming, always greeted you when you entered. Good facilities for self catering. Rooms a little dated but clean. Good quality bunk beds-not rickety or squeaky. Only negative I would say is the sheets aren’t big enough for the bed-even someone who sleeps like a corpse wouldn’t be able to keep it on the mattress. Overall happy with my experience here and would recommend!"
